Tomás Fernández Vértiz (Mexico City, 1994) is a Mexican filmmaker whose work explores land, traditions, identity and community, through an observational, sensory documentary language. He is currently in post-production on Bajo el Mismo Sol, a documentary shot in Galicia, and developing Radio Betania, a feature-length documentary co-directed with Víctor Paré in Peru.
In film he has worked on productions such as Carlos Reygadas's Heil Jupiter, Wonder Woman 1984 (Warner Bros.), Bloodshot and A Twelve-Year Night; and for brands including New Balance, Nike, Prada MX, Hugo Boss, Cinemex and Jumex, among others.
